My batting gloves have something in them that hurts my left hand thumb? - rawlings batting gloves

I have the 1050T Rawlings workhorse within and between my thumb and index finger is a small ball as a node that bothers me when I look back, if I am in fairly sure that the glove is cut down. I tried to rub some cocoa butter to soften it, perhaps, but idk what to do, because they are really great gloves differently.
